benefits and difficulties of peer review.

There are many benefits as well as difficulties to peer review. To anyone who does not know what peer review is this is a written review by someone in the same class as the writer being evaluated. The benefits are that you can learn from others what you can improve on while seeing if your composition is at all interesting to other readers. Peer review also allows you to make any corrections necessary before sending it in for grading or publishing. Peer reviews however also have downsides. The first of these is also one of the benefits and that is that you get constructive criticism (sometimes more criticism than constructive). Second, after peer reviews you often have to go back and revise parts of your paper. These reviews also may not always be what you had hoped and you often have to go back and sometimes even revise the entire paper .
