response post/Sins of the (Grand)father?

A 6 year old boy who was abducted 4 days ago is now back safe with family and police say that his grand daddy may be the reason! 4 days ago Cole Puffinburger was abducted from his mothers home by two armed men posing as police officers. the boy (now home safe with his father) was found on a side street by a bus driver near a Methodist church. The police have now arrested the boys grandfather whom they believe stole millions from drug dealers and was supposed to pay back the money in ransom demands. My thoughts is that while the author of this piece seems rather objective I think the Grandpa should fry! anyone who steals money from serious drug traffickers is only asking for trouble for him and his family. What the man should have done is gone to the police and told the police about these druggies and let them deal with the traffickers instead of stealing from them. Most other news articles are giving sympathy towards the boy but are just as suspicious of the Granddad as I am. My question: how did this grandpa find out about this drug ring in the first place?
